50 years and 25,000 pools after starting their company, Herb and Phyllis Budd continue to build rewarding relationships with their customers and neighbors throughout the Delaware Valley.

Herb Budd Jr., working side by side with his wife Phyllis, founded Budd's Pool Co. back in 1958 when he was fresh out of college. Since then, the company has grown to an award-winning business. Budd's Pool Co. has been a member of the National Spa and Pool Institute since 1958. Herb served as one of the National Directors of the Institute from 1963 to 1965. In 1961 Herb and Phyllis attended their first National Pool convention in California and have been attending the shows and educational seminars every year since.

In 1998 Budd's Pool Co. became one of 13 pool and spa dealers nationwide who were inducted into the AQUA 100 HALL OF FAME. The Aqua 100 recognizes the top 100 Pool and Spa dealers in the industry and the Hall of Fame honors those companies that have made the Aqua 100 list five or more consecutive years. Budd's Pools was also inducted into the Pacific Pools Showcase Builders Hall of Fame in 2008. Although Herb is semi-retired from the business in Oct 2006 Herb successfully obtained the prestigious level of Certified Building Professional from the APSP National Education Staff. His wife Phyllis remains active in the business while their son Randy serves as the company's President with over 30 yrs experience in the pool industry.
