Not All In-ground Pools Are Equal…
Although all in-ground pools look beautiful from the surface it’s what is in the ground that you can not see that makes the major difference. The most important decision in purchasing an in-ground pool is a company that will give you peace of mind. There are several companies out there but searching for a qualified & certified builder can be frustrating. Using a licensed contractor is a must; they assist and ensure the construction of your pool is done right. Getting referrals from previous customers and checking with your township permit department helps in your search for that pool company.
In-ground pools are classified as Vinyl, Fiberglass, Gunite and Shotcrete. There are several shapes, sizes and options that can be done on all inground pools. Concentrate on the quality of the product, history of the company, installation crews are employees, the pool company is licensed and insured. The qualified builder will have a sales department, a retail store and service department to cover your pool warranties and to be there when you need them.
A qualified builder will take 6-8 weeks to build a pool; they do not build in the cold winter months because they want quality pools. The concerns you should have is when a company has lesser of quality installers, sub-contractors for each stage of the job, working from their own trucks and the cost of the pool is significantly less. Beware of the companies that make promises of getting jobs done in less than 4 weeks, don’t have a store, don’t have their own installers, and are not licensed and insured.
Remember in your search to find “peace of mind” that you made a good decision with a company that will be there for you.
